Happy Lunar New Year!
Happy Year of the Dog to all our followers, clients, freelancers and friends!
As the official lunar new year comes to an end, it feels like the year is starting to power up. We have had a phenomenal 2017 and have attained many firsts in our business. We celebrated our 5th anniversary, completed 2 documentaries – one in partnership with Discovery – and secured two new international broadcasters as clients. We also are proud for our work with the second annual 5-min Video Challenge, in partnership with Singtel. We are a small shop, but we are mighty!
We are grateful for the multitude of relationships that we have spent the last five years building and nurturing. We are grateful for the trust placed in us by both clients and freelancers, and we hope to honour and steward that trust by continuing to grow and offer more successes in future!
As we move into the new year, we have lofty goals, but we think we have the plan, team, and skillset to execute successfully. We will continue to build up the freelancing community, providing valuable work for freelancers and supporting their professional journeys while producing top-quality project work for companies using our services. As smaller business units establish offices and footholds in APAC, and companies look for innovative ways to complete an ever more diverse set of projects, the freelancing community can only grow, and we are excited for the opportunities that will bring. The future of work is definitely coming to Asia.
The world, these days, is a scary place, and this year will be full of challenges big and small. But by being versatile, adaptable and creative, we are entering the year with excitement and passion, and I, for one, believe that this year holds great success.
