Year End Highlights

Before we know it, we have to bid farewell to 2018. It has been a rewarding, challenging and exciting year for us and our freelancers. As we open our arms wide to welcome 2019, we would like to share with you the 3 key highlights for CreativesAtWork in 2018.

Here's to a better 2019 and let's scale greater heights together!

1. Filming in 9 ASEAN countries

CreativesAtWork was entrusted this project by our client. Using our extensive freelance's and partners' network in the ASEAN region, we pulled together a team of more than 100 members in 3 months over 9 ASEAN countries. After producing this music video, we are very appreciative of the close ties we have with our ASEAN neighbours. We are only stronger together.

Together with our network of partners and freelancers from the 9 ASEAN countries, we have completed this together.

2. Freelancer Documentary "Not your typical 9 to 5"

This year, we embarked on a journey to tell the stories of our freelancers. We want to show the real life of freelancers - the ups and downs, the triumphs and heartbreaks.

Directed by one of our own freelancer, Kyle Ong and produced by Loh Yen-Lyng, "Not your Average 9 to 5" seeks to tear down the glamorous social media filters and unveil the passion and the struggles of everyday people who made a career choice of 'not your typical 9 to 5'.

Full version coming to you in 2019.

3. The Freelance Creative Exchange podcast

Freelance Creative Exchange is our first ever podcast about freelancers by freelancers. Every 2 weeks, we catch up with professionals over coffee at the PIXEL Studio and share stories about freelancing or anything in and around the topic. Each episode is about 30-40 minutes long and available in both podcast and YouTube formats. Hosted by CreativesAtWork co-founders Fanny and Jayce, you will find candid conversations with creative professionals about freelancing and the gig economy in Singapore & beyond.

Do feel free to reach out to us at contact@creativesatwork.asia anytime. We would love to hear from you. Hereby, wishing you a fabulous festive season ahead.
